Gretsch G5120 Electromatic Hollowbody Guitar: So Much More Than Rockabil...

From Gearwire:It's not automatic, systematic, or hydromatic, but you can bet most of the ne'r-do-well kids from Grease would rather own a Gretsch G5120 Electromatic Hollowbody Guitar than sport a hicky from Kenickie. Now that I have no idea what I'm talking about, why don't you check out the video demo Owen did on the aforementioned, Korean-made gem.

Yes it's an overseas origin axe, but don't let that dissuade you from checking out a Gretsch G5012 at your earliest convenience. No matter what style of music you play, the Electromatic Hollowbody can pull it off — possibly exception being high-gain metal. Then again, the neck does shred.

This is Anthony Lloyd of Electric Chair 3000. Next to the sound of an acoustic guitar, my most loved sounds come from blues guitar. The Gretsch G5120 makes great rockabilly, blues and country guitar parts.

Despite having many of my songs that are dance, electronica and beat based, some of my favorite songs that I've made are country and blues songs. Must have something to do with being raised in Alabama.
